Traveling today, particularly overseas, can be stressful. Here are some “plan ahead” suggestions that can help.
Passports – Always make a couple of extra copies of your passport, and keep one in your wallet or purse, as well as your carry-on bag. If your passport is lost or stolen, having a copy will greatly reduce the time necessary to get a replacement at the local U.S. Embassy. Note: Your passport must be valid for six months beyond your scheduled return date. Check your expiration date well before you travel.
Meds – Always make sure that you have the meds you need in a carry-on bag or small suitcase. Don’t pack them in checked luggage.
